How to delete your zomato account from application?

To delete your zomato account from application follow the steps given:-

Step1. Open your zomato application and login there.

Step2. Click on profile icon available on the upper-right corner in your screen.

Step3. Click on settings.

Step4. After that you will land on the setting page of zomato where you will see many options like edit profile, account settings,,etc. 

Click on 'account settings'.

Step5. After that you will see two options as change email and delete account,you have to click on delete account option.

Step6. After following step5 you will asked to enter a reason for deleting your zomato account.

Choose any reason there, if you want to not gave any proper reason then just selete 'other'.

Step7. Then they will ask you to gave a feedback, you can write your experience with zomato there or you can leave it blank.

Then, click on next.

Step8. Then click on 'delete my account now' button.

After following the steps given above your account will be successfully permanently deleted from zomato.

How to delete your zomato account by sending email?

Step1. Open your gmail application and login there with your email using which you have created your zomato account.

Step2. Now compose an email, to compose an email on gmail app click on the plus(+) icon available on the right-down corner in your screen.

Step3. After that you will see a new interface opened.

1. Write 'help@zomato.com' in 'To' section.

 2. In subject you have to write 'Delete my zomato account'

 

 3. In compose section, write 'I want to permanently delete my account' because of 'write your reason'. And send this.

 

After some time zomato team will contact you through email to confirm that you really want to delete the account or not and after that they will permanently close your account.

What will happen after deleting your zomato account?

 1. Your all zomato coupons/credits will be removed so use them before deleting your zomato account.

 

 2. Your all saved information on your account like address, payment details will be permanently removed.

 

 3. Your previous order details will be permanently vanished and you would not be able to seek help in chat support related to your orders.

Disadvantages/limitations of zomato.

1. While ordering food you cannot see whether the restaurant is hygenic or not and let assume if you like less spicy food, in restaurant you can tell the chef to put less chillis in your food but on zomato you cannot.

 

 2. They charge you extra delivery and packaging fee on the food which makes it little more costly.

 

 3. If the restaurant (from which you have ordered food) is far from your place then it will take more time to deliver, so try to order from your nearby restaurant(if you want to get food delivered fast).
