How to permanently delete your account on swiggy/ swiggy service review?

Swiggy is one of the biggest food delivery company in india, it was founded in august 2014 and it has more than 5 crore users and hopefully you are also one of them, so by any reason  like bad service or less options, if you want to delete your swiggy account permanently then this blog will guide you.

Swiggy does not provide a direct option to delete your account from app, but they provide a solution to delete your account.

In FAQ section of swiggy application they have written a query about account deactivation, they have written that if someone want to permanently delete their account then he/she have to write an email to 'support@swiggy.in' (which is a official email id of swiggy support system) that he/she want to permanently delete his/her  swiggy account.

How to write an email to swiggy support for delete your account?

kindly follow the steps given below to write a mail to 'swiggy support system' for delete your account.

Step1. Go to your gmail app and login with the same gmail using which your swiggy account created and which you want to delete.

Step2. Now compose an email, to compose an email on gmail app click on the plus(+) icon available on the right-down corner in your screen.

Step3. After that you will see a new interface opened.

1. Write 'support@swiggy.in' in 'To' section.

 2. In suject you have to write 'Delete my swiggy account'

 3. In compose section, write 'I want to permanently delete my account' because of 'write your reason here', and send this mail.

 

After some time swiggy team will contact with you through email to confirm that you really want to delete the account or not and after that they will permanently close your account and after deleting if you want to use swiggy again then you will have to create a whole new swiggy account.

There are always advantages and disadvantages of everything, so this is also true for swiggy, here i have explained about some pros and cons about swiggy which may help you to decide whether you should delete your swiggy account or not.

Pros of using swiggy.

 1. You can order your food online, you don't have to go to a restaurant or food canteen to get food, you can simply order and they will deliver at your place.

 2. You get refund easily, if there is any fault with the food, to get refund you have to just chat with customer care and send them a picture of the food and after checking they will refund your money or gave an option to order another food for free in that price.

 

 3. Swiggy provides you 24 hour delivery  service.

 

 Cons of using swiggy.

 1. While ordering food you cannot see whether the restaurant is hygenic or not and let assume if you like less spicy food, in resturant you can tell the chef to put less chillis in your food but on swiggy you cannot.

 

 2. They charge you extra delivery and packaging fee on food which makes it little more costly.

 

 3. If the restaurant (from which you have ordered food)is far from your place then it will take more time to deliver, so try to order from your nearby restaurant(if you want to get food delivered fast).

 

 4. If you will cancel or return food ordered on cash on delivery then they will remove cash on delivery option for next order.
