How to delete history of google and firefox on both mobile phone and desktop/computer?

Did you ever noticed that when you search something on google or on any other browser, after writing some words automatically an url related to your search got written in search box, that happens because you would have ever opened that url before and the browser saved it, our browser saves everything we search on it.

In this article i have explained you about how to delete your google and firefox's browsing history and also about your information saved by your browser.

What informations are saved by your browser and why they take these information from you?

Browsers doesn't only save your search history other than search history/browsing history browsers saves informations like downloading history, cached files and images,.. etc.

Browsing history:- when you search something on your browser and visit some websites your browser saves the website's url and name so that you can re visit it if you want.

Downloading history:- If you download anything through your browser, the browser will save your downloading file/history they do this because if you ever delete that file from your storage it will still remains in your browser's download section so that if you want use that file again then you have to just re install/save  that from there in your device's storage.

Cookies:- cookies are a small text files, many websites offers cookies and ask you to accept them. Cookies are used to trace people's behaviour to show them more personalised advertisements.

Cached files:- cached files are just copies of images and other elements on the webpages you visits, they saves cached files to boost the loading speed of that page, so that if you revisits that page again the browser simply draws the elements from cached files instead of downloading again and this will save your data and a very little amount of time.

Passwords and other login info:- if you login on any website with your email and password browser will ask for save your login info, if you gave the permission to save your login info then whenever you login again on the same website the password will be written by itself.

How to delete history of google on andriod?

Step1. Open your google browser and login with your email id.

Step2. Search 'myactivity.google.com' on google.

Step3. After that you will land on my activity page where you can track your activity on mobile.

Now click on three lines on the upper-left corner in your screen.

Step4. A menu bar will open where you will see many options like bundle view, item view, delete activity by, etc. Click on 'delete activity by'.

Step5. After clicking on 'delete activity by' Four options will be came on screen where you will be asked to select time duration from you want to delete your history, if you want to delete your google history of all time then select always option.

Step6. Select the services of which you want to delete activities then click on next.

Step7. Click on delete.

After following the steps given above, your google history will be successfully permanently deleted.

How to delete google chrome's history on andriod?

Step1. Login to google chrome with your email id.

Step2. Click on three dots in the upper-right corner.

Step3. A menu bar will opened where you will see options like new tab, incognito, bookmarks, recent tabs, history, etc..
Click on history option.

Step4. After that you will land on history page from where you can track and manage your chrome's history.

Click on 'clear browsing data'.
Your chrome history will be deleted.

Note:- As you know that google chrome is a product of google so what you search on chrome is also store in Google's my activity, if you will delete history direct from chrome then it will not be deleted from my activity.
To remove your chrome's history from my activity visit to google.myactivity.com and delete from there.

How to delete google search history from windows dekstop or laptop?

Step1. Open your google chrome and login there with your email id and password.

Step2. Click 'ctrl+H' and you will land on Google's history page.

Step3. On the left side you will see a option of 'clear browsing data', click on that.

Step4. After clicking on 'clear browsing data' you will land on Google's settings page where you will see the options to select the time range of which you want to delete history,

You will also get options to select that what information you want to delete like browsing history, cookies, cached files etc.

Select the info you want to delete then click on clear data, your data will be successfully deleted.

Delete your data from Google's my activity.

If hou have deleted your data from google chrome it will remain in google's my activity, to delete your browsing in some easy  from Google's my activity follow the steps given:-

Step1. Search myactivity.google.com on chrome.

Step2. Click on 'delete activity by' available on the left side of your screen.

Step3. Select the time range.

Step4. Your data will be successfully deleted.

How to delete firefox's history on andriod?

Step1. Click on the three white dots available on the right-down corner in screen.

Step2. Click on history.

Step3. Click on delete history button available in the top of the screen.

Step4. Delete your previous tabs by clicking on the tab icon available in down side of your screen.

How to delete firefox's history on windows laptop or desktop?

Step1. Open your firefox browser and login with your email and password.

Step2. Click 'ctrl+H'.

Step3. After that history page will open where you could see your previous browsing sites.

To delete your browsing sites select the sites you want to delete(at a time you could only select any one site) then click on delete page.

To delete everything at once type the command 'ctrl+A' on your firefox browser, click right button of your mouse then click on delete. Your browsing history will be successfully deleted from firefox.
