Step2. Scroll down and click on '24×7 help and support'.

Step3. After that you will land on a new page.

In 'choose a service you need help with' section click on 'view all services' and scroll down little and you will see a option name as 'profile settings' click on that.

Step4. Click on 'I lost my phone/I want to block my account'.

Step5. Click on 'I want to block my account' and read the points given there carefully.

Step6. Click on 'proceed to block' written in blue text.

The select a reason to block your account and click on proceed.

Your account will be successfully blocked.

How to unblock your paytm account/ How to get your paytm account back?

To unblock your paytm account you will have to write an email to paytm's customer care with the email id using which you have used to registered your paytm account.

How to write an email to paytm's customer care to unblock your account?

Open your email application which you use like gmail or yahoo and compose an email.

Note:- if possible, use the same email id which you have used to create your paytm account.

1. Write 'care@paytm.com' in 'To' section.

 2. In subject you have to write 'Unblock my paytm account '.

 3. In compose section, write 'Dear paytm's customer support, I had losted my phone some days ago so, i had blocked my paytm account to prevent it from any misuse and now i have recovered my phone so, i want to unblock my paytm account.

 My account details:- " enter your account details such as registered mobile number, email, add any ID like your aadhar card image and pan card image" you can also add the screenshots of mails and messages which you have received from paytm to your registered mobile number or email address.

And send this after that wait for 2-3 days for their response.

How to permanently delete your paytm account direct from application?

Step1. Open your paytm application and login with your phone number and password.

Step2. Click on the 'profile icon' available on the upper left corner in your screen.

Step3. Scroll down little and Click on '24×7 help and support' option.

Step4. In 'choose a service' section click on 'view all services' written in blue text.

Step5. You will see many services there regarding which you can take help from paytm care.

Scroll down and click on 'profile settings' option.

Step6. Click on 'I want to close/delete my account' option.

Step7. After that you will land on deleting account's page, read the notice written there.

Click on the 'close account' option written in blue text available in bottom of your screen.

Step8. After that you will asked to enter a reason for deleting your paytm account, you can choose any reason written there or if you doesn't want to specify your reason then choose 'other' option.

And then submit your account details.

Then click on 'delete my account'.

After following these steps carefully your paytm account will be successfully permanently closed.

How to permanently delete your paytm account by sending email?

Step1. Open your gmail application and login with your e-mail address which you had used while creating your paytm account.

Step2. Now compose an email, to compose an email on gmail app click on the plus(+) icon available on the right-down corner in your screen.

Step3. After that you will see a new interface opened.

1. Write 'care@paytm.com' in 'To' section.

 2. In subject you have to write 'Delete my paytm account'
